Do not be late. This is one of those shows that makes you understand that a few strings can rock all by themselves. Dave Black, Asako Kuboki, Ranya Iqbal and Syd Rodway will take you places that will astound your ears. Dave on guitar, Asako on violin, Ranya on cello and Syd on bass add up to be one of St. Louis’ true music treasures. If you have not seen Bridge, get to Joes this Thursday.
This band is so talented as individuals, any of three of them can take a break and let the remaining member play on. This is a case where 1+1+1+1=16. Personally I am biased to all four, so show up and form your own opinion. I will suggest though that all will amaze you!
The music set can cover everything from classic jazz to pop in ways that I will guarantee have you wishing for a four hour show! Personally I dig what they do when Bridge focuses on the Bossa Nova. Alas, this show is from 8 to 10 and every note will be blissful to your ears!
